Arena Leisure notes the rise in its share price today and
the recent press speculation surrounding the Company.
The Board of Arena can confirm that it is in discussions
with a number of parties to further its strategy of being
a leader in the process of the consolidation of the UK
horse racing industry.  These discussions are at an early
stage and therefore no further announcements are expected
in the immediate future.
