At the Extraordinary General Meeting of Arena Leisure Plc on 25
January 2000 options were granted to Directors and employees
under the Unapproved Scheme over 5,515,068 Ordinary shares at an
option price of 62 pence per share on the terms described in the
Circular to shareholders dated 7 January 2000 ("the Circular").
This includes grants to the following Directors:

The initial options will be exercisable from three years to ten
years after grant if and to the extent that the performance
conditions, as specified in the Circular, are satisfied.

The additional options will be exercisable from five years to ten
years after grant if and to the extent that the performance
conditions, as specified in the Circular, are satisfied.

The above Directors may also be deemed to have an interest in
3,000,000 Additional Options granted to an Option "Pool". Special
performance conditions apply as specified in the Circular.
