                      BEA-TRADING ANNOUNCEMENT OWN SHARES


Bergesen has today bought 45,000 of its own shares, being 35,000

A-shares and 10,000 B-shares for NOK 134.00 and NOK 115.00 per share
respectively.

After this purchase Bergesen owns totally 1,957,650 of its own shares, being
1,797,500 A-shares and 160,150 B-shares.

Excluding own shares the number of outstanding shares is 57,664,406.
