                      BEA-TRADING ANNOUNCEMENT OWN SHARES




Bergesen has today bought 54,000 of its own A-shares, for NOK 122.00 per share.

After this purchase Bergesen owns totally 2,276,650 of its own shares, being
2,031,500 A-shares and 245,150 B-shares.

Excluding own shares the number of outstanding shares is 57,345,406.
