Announcement of Interim Results


Biofuels Corporation plc ("Biofuels") will announce its interim results for the
six months ended 30 September 2006 on Thursday, 14 December, when it will give a
full update on production levels and sales.


Since the resumption of on-spec biodiesel production early last month, both
production rates and quality levels in October were consistently good, with a
best-ever level of production achieved. In addition, deliveries of refined
glycerine - a by-product of the biodiesel manufacturing process - are scheduled
to commence early next week.


As a consequence of the tight price spread caused by lower mineral oil prices
and the increased cost of vegetable oils and methanol, Biofuels is currently
experiencing tighter profit margins. During this period, the management team
will be optimising production and the use of working capital to meet demand.


The tighter margins, if they continue, will, we believe, deter sector growth
which may impact the ability of the industry to meet expected demands from
mandatory measures and in particular the RTFO in the UK.


In the longer term, with increased incentives in place for the use of biofuel
from 1 April 2008 in the UK and increasing focus on encouraging its use across
Europe (for example the implementation of mandatory measures in Germany from 1
January 2007), it is still expected that the demand for biodiesel will grow
rapidly.
