The Company is pleased  to announce that 587,312  B Shares have  been 
placed, subject  to admission  to  trading on  AIM, pursuant  to  the 
Supplemental Placing  described in  the Admission  document dated  15 
January 2009. Application has been made to the London Stock  Exchange 
for these shares  to be admitted  to trading on  AIM. It is  expected 
that trading will become effective  and dealings will commence on  12 
March 2009. 
 
Following the commencement of trading of the above shares the Company 
will have in issue 17,168,210 A Shares and 12,960,844 B Shares. 
 
The aggregate  value  of the  B  Shares  issued in  the  Placing  was 
GBP12,960,844 at the  Placing Price of  100p per B  Share. The  Company 
acquired securities in a  total of 62 companies  of which 59 are  AIM 
companies and 3 are companies listed on the Official List. 
 
Christopher Clark, Chairman, said: 
 
"The B  Share  issue  has  established  a  separate  portfolio  which 
provides all Brookwell shareholders with cost benefits." 
 
Robert Legget,  Managing  Director  of  Progressive  AIM  Realisation 
Limited, the Company's investment manager, said: 
 
"We are delighted to have  received support from 13 institutions.  We 
have already begun working to extract liquidity and value from the  B 
Share portfolio."
