LONDON--Pay-television giant Sky PLC (SKY.LN) Monday said it invested a further $900,000 in California, U.S.-based virtual-cinema company Jaunt, as part of a funding round.

Sky said the sum brings its total investment to date in the technology firm since 2013 to $1.65 million.

At 1516 GMT, Sky shares fell 0.2% to 1,021 pence.
