DOTTEREL LIMITED INCREASED OFFER FOR CALA PLC

Morrison Construction Group plc announces today that it has
agreed to provide additional support for the management team of
CALA in their increased bid to purchase CALA plc, by way of a
further #500,000 of equity.  This will take the value of the
investment by Morrison to #786,000, which would represent 9.8%
of the equity of the bidding vehicle Dotterel, and is
conditional on the management team's bid to take the business
private being successful.  This support reflects the long
standing record of the two businesses working successfully
together for the benefit of shareholders.

Morrison Construction Group Managing Director, Keith Howell,
