Shares held in Treasury


The Board of the Company announces that it has today made a market purchase of
250,000 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the capital of the Company
representing 1.95% of the current issued ordinary share capital of the Company, 
at a price of 122 pence per ordinary share.

The Company intends to hold these shares in Treasury.

Following the purchase of these shares the Company holds 500,000 of its shares
in Treasury and the total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding Treasury
shares) is 12,585,000.
