The following announcement replaces the announcement issued by the Company on 10 
March 2009. 
 
 
Pointex Enterprises Ltd ("Pointex") holds 23,760,000 ordinary shares in the 
Company representing 3.3 per cent. of the issued share capital. Pointex is 
wholly owned by the family of John Ho, a director of China Western. Pointex 
pledged 23,760,000 shares as security for a loan of HK$2,000,000 to Pointex 
entered into on 29 September 2005.
