                                     Notice of General Meeting


Cambridge Mineral Resources plc ("CMR" or "the Company"), the mining and exploration company,  has
called  a  General Meeting to be held on 10 March 2008 at 11:00am at its head office, 10 Fenchurch
Avenue,  London EC3M 5BN.  This General Meeting is to approve an increase in Directors'  authority
to  allot  shares  in the Company, further to the announcement by the Company on 25  January  2008
regarding additional financing for the development of gold mines in Colombia.

A  copy  of  the  circular  has today been mailed to shareholders and will  be  available  at  the
Company's website shortly: www.cambmin.co.uk.
