                      Share Acquisition by Mark Tincknell 
 
    Notification of Transactions of Directors, Persons Discharging Managerial 
                      Responsibility or Connected Persons 
 
Mark Tincknell, Chief Executive of Connaught, has notified the Company that on 
16 February he purchased a further 100,000 shares in Connaught at a price of 
308.25p.  Mr Tincknell has also today exercised options over an additional 
81,000 shares granted under the Company's LTIP at an exercise price of nil p. Mr 
Tincknell will not sell shares to meet the tax liability on these options which 
he will fund from personal resources. 
 
This is in addition to recent purchases in 2010 of 200,000 shares. Mark and his 
wife Caryl Tincknell now hold 1,079,480 beneficial shares representing 0.78% of 
the issued share capital. 
 
The above transactions have been notified for the purposes of DTR3.1.2R. All 
transactions took place in London in relation to ordinary shares of 2p each.
