                         Dragon Oil PLC ("the Company")

           Correction of certain information in the Directors' Report


It has come to the attention of the Company that certain information as to the
holdings of shares in the Company of certain present and former directors,
appearing under the heading "Directors' Interests", in the report of the
directors accompanying the financial statements for the year ended 31 December
2002, is incorrect.

The table below states the correct information for the following three
directors, which is consistent with previously announced directors' dealing
notifications.
