Updated Net Asset Value and Interim Capital Dividend Declaration

Electra Kingsway VCT Plc announces that the unaudited Net Asset Value per share
at 31 January 2005 was 119.45p*.

The Directors of the Company are pleased to declare an interim capital dividend
of 6.5p per ordinary share payable on 29 April 2005 to shareholders on the
register on 11 March 2005.

In order to permit the payment of a dividend out of capital gains, the Company's
status as an investment company under Section 266 of the Companies Act 1985 has
been revoked.

* The unaudited net asset value per share at 31 January 2005 was calculated on
the basis of the net asset value at 30 September 2004 adjusted to reflect the
purchases and sales of investments and mid-market values on that day in respect
of listed investments.
