Electra Kingsway VCT Plc announces that on 8 February 2008 the Company purchased
200,000 ordinary shares of 1p each for cancellation representing 0.69% of the
issued share capital at a price of 71 pence per share.

Following this transaction the Company now has 19,499,679 ordinary shares of 1p
each and 9,093,156 'C' shares of 1p each in issue.
