    Energem Resources Inc.

    Holding In Company

    London: Energem Resources Inc. ("Energem" or the "Company") (TSX/AIM: ENM) received notification today that, as of the end of September
2008, RAB Special Situations (Master) Fund Limited ("Special Situations"), have reduced their shareholding in the Company by 8,000,000 no
par value common shares ("Shares") in the Company. After this reduction, Special Situations continue to hold 21,679,179 Shares in Energem
and 15,363,600 warrants to acquire Shares, each warrant granting the right to Special Situations to acquire one Share at (Canadian)$ 1.00
per Share until 9 March 2009. The Company has 175,288,003 Shares outstanding. Special Situations reduction of 4.23% in their common share
holding reduces their interest in outstanding Shares to 12.4% (19.4% including the warrants and assuming full exercise of all convertible
securities in Energem held by Special Situations).
