    RESULTS OF SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING OF SHAREHOLDERS

    Energem Resources Inc. (the "Company") is pleased to announce that all resolutions proposed at its Special General Meeting of
Shareholders held on November 6, 2008 were duly passed. 

    Two resolutions were tabled, namely a resolution approving the disposal of the Company's remaining interest in its Nigerian fuel storage
and distribution facility and a resolution approving the purchase of an aircraft by the Company.

    In respect of the first resolution 99.9% of the votes cast were in favour and in respect of the second, 90.9% (exclusive of those
shareholders not entitled to vote on this second resolution by virtue of being related parties), voted in favour.
