Related Party Debt Update / Change of Adviser 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Further to the announcements of July 16, August 6, September 11 and September 
22, 2009, the Company has today been advised that all of the conditions to the 
receipt of funds relating to the US$54 million debt (the "Funds") due to it by 
certain related party debtors has now been satisfied and that the Company 
expects the US$54 million will be received within the next month. 
 
 
Under these circumstances, the Company's annual and interim financial statements 
and related documents will remain subject to delay until after receipt of the 
Funds by the Company, and, as a result, the Company's shares will remain 
temporarily suspended from trading on AIM. 
 
 
In addition, Energem is pleased to announce that it has appointed Strand Hanson 
Limited as Nominated Adviser and Broker to the Company, with immediate effect.
