Posting Of Circular 
 
Further to today's announcement regarding the proposed disposal by the Company 
of the Private Equity Portfolio, the Company confirms that a circular containing 
details of the Disposal and the notice convening an EGM, at which approval for 
the Disposal will be sought from the Capital Shareholders, is today being posted 
to shareholders. 
 
The EGM will be held at 10.30 a.m. on 27 August 2010 at IOMA House, Hope Street, 
Douglas, Isle of Man IM1 1AP. 
 
Two copies of the circular have been submitted to the UK Listing Authority and 
will shortly be available for inspection by the public, during normal business 
hours on any weekday (except Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays), at the UK 
Listing Authority's Document Viewing Facility, which is situated at: The 
Financial Services Authority, 25 The North Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London E14 
5HS, telephone 020 7066 1000. 
 
In addition, the circular will shortly be available to view on the Company's 
website, and will be available for inspection at the offices of Latham & Watkins 
at 99 Bishopsgate, London EC2M 3XF for a period of one month following 
Admission, during normal business hours on any weekday (except Saturdays, 
Sundays and public holidays). 
 
Certain terms used in this announcement are defined and have the same meaning as 
in EPIC's announcement regarding the disposal which was made earlier today.
