                    Equable Properties plc ('the Company')

                          Receipt of Placing Proceeds


Further to the announcement released on 20 April 2007 relating to delay in
payment for part of the proceeds of the Company's recent placing of ordinary
shares ("Placing"), the Company today announces that a further #150,000, has now
been received by the Company. The total funds received to date amount to
#550,000. A further #50,000 is expected shortly and notification will be given
as soon as these funds have been received.
