    Statement re suspension 

    First Communications, Inc. (the "Company")

    Following the announcement this morning of the required restatement of First Communications' results for the period ended December 31,
2007, the Company announces that trading in its shares will be suspended on AIM until it has announced its corrected financial results for
this period. The Company will release the restated 2007 financial statements upon completion of the audit, which is expected in the very
near-term.
