Granwood Holdings Limited acquires minority stake in Gaskell plc



Granwood Holdings Limited ("Granwood") announces that it today acquired
1,183,146 ordinary shares of Gaskell plc ("Gaskell" or the "Company"),
representing approximately 4.8% of the ordinary share capital, from Acorn
Income Fund Limited, whose funds are managed by Unicorn Asset Management
Limited. This increases Granwood's holding in Gaskell to 7,132,474 ordinary
shares, representing approximately 29.1% of the ordinary share capital.



Michael Pass owns beneficially the entire issued share capital of Granwood and
is thus interested in the shares of Gaskell acquired by Granwood for the
purposes of section 198 of the Companies Act 1985.
