                    Notice of temporary suspension of shares


GeneMedix plc ("the Company"), the AIM listed biopharmaceutical company,
announces that Ernst & Young LLP are no longer able to act as nominated advisor
for the Company, having withdrawn their status as nominated adviser and,
therefore, pursuant to AIM rule 1, trading in the Company's shares is
temporarily suspended until a new nominated adviser has been appointed.
