Following confirmation on 23 January 2008 by the High Court of the capital
reduction and cancellation and repayment of the Preference Shares, as announced
on 23 November 2007, the Company can confirm that the capital reduction, and
consequent cancellation of trading in the preference shares, has become
effective today, 24 January 2008
