Market Purchase of Company's Own Shares

Notification is given that pursuant to the authority granted at the Annual
General Meeting held on 1 May 2001 to make market purchases of the Company's own
shares of 1 pence, a market purchase of 70,548 shares of 1 pence each in the
capital of the Company was made on Thursday, 28 February 2002 at a price of
£9.10 per share.

Following this purchase and cancellation there will be 1,874,458 shares in
issue.
