Henderson Japanese Smaller Companies Trust plc announces that at the Annual
General Meeting held earlier today, all resolutions proposed were duly passed,
including resolutions that the Company be generally authorised to allot
securities up to an aggregate nominal amount of #1,007,740 for cash on a non
pre-emptive basis and be generally authorised to make market purchases of its
own ordinary shares up to a maximum of 12,084,828 shares.
