                            Board Changes

The Board of Hat Pin plc ("Hat Pin" or the "Company") announces today
that Terry Hitchcock has decided to  stand down as Chairman and as  a
Director of the Company with immediate effect.

The Board  would  like  to  express  its  thanks  to  Terry  for  his
contribution to  the Company  since his  appointment two  and a  half
years ago.

The Board of  Hat Pin  also announces  today the  appointment of  Bob
Morton as Non-Executive Chairman of  the Company. Bob is a  chartered
accountant,  successful  entrepreneur  and  has  substantial   public
company experience. He is  currently chairman of  a number of  public
companies, including Armour Group plc,  Servoca plc, Tenon Group  plc
and  St  Peter   Port  Capital   Limited.  In   addition,  he   holds
directorships in a wide range of private companies.

For the purposes  of paragraph  (g) of schedule  2 of  the AIM  Rules
Arthur Leonard Robert Morton  (Bob), aged 66, holds  or has held  the
following directorships over the last five years:
