The Islamic Bank of Britain plc ("the Company") was informed on 11 October 2007,
that a director of the Company, Sultan Choudhury acquired 30,000 ordinary shares
of #0.01 each (the "Ordinary Shares") at a price of #0.0525 per share on 11
October 2007.



Following this share purchase, Mr. Choudhury holds 34,000 Ordinary Shares
representing 0.0081 per cent. of the Company's total voting rights.
