Results of General Meetings

On 25 February 2009, the Company sent a circular to its shareholders giving 
notice of General Meetings of the Company and of the Subsidiary and outlining 
details of the proposal to place the Company and the Subsidiary into members' 
voluntary liquidation on 20 March 2009 in accordance with their respective 
Articles and pursuant to the provisions of section 84(1)(b) of the Insolvency 
Act 1986. 
 
The Company now announces that all the resolutions proposed as set out in the 
notices of General Meetings of the Company and of the Subsidiary to 
shareholders dated 25 February 2009 were duly passed on a show of hands. 
 
The Company also announces the following unaudited data using bid valuations: 
 
Terminal Asset Value (TAV) 
 
TAV per zero dividend preference share in the Subsidiary      195.54p 
 
TAV per ordinary share in the Company as at 18 March 2009      34.01p 
 
Distribution to ordinary shareholders is expected to take place in the week 
commencing 27 April 2009 after the expiry of the creditors' claims period. 
Accordingly, the TAV per ordinary share may be subject to change.
