                                 Product Launch

                      IDMoS launches CarieScan in Ireland

IDMoS plc (AIM: IDO) ('IDMoS' or the 'Group'), the specialists in disease
detection and monitoring technology, confirms that today it officially launches
its CarieScan and CarieScan Plus products in Ireland at Identex 2007, the annual
trade event of the Association of the Irish Dental Industry Ltd held on 9th -
10th of November in Dublin.

Last month, the Group announced the UK launch of CarieScan at the British Dental
Trade Association meeting at the NEC in Birmingham. Denplan Limited is promoting
IDMoS's CarieScan products to its network of 6,500 dental practices,
representing over 70% of the UK dental plan market.

CarieScan is a caries detection product developed by internationally recognised
dental and clinical diagnostics experts Professor Nigel Pitts and Dr Chris
Longbottom and is based on AC impedance spectroscopy. It facilitates earlier and
more accurate detection of tooth decay than currently possible with any other
commercially available system and aims to exploit a global shift towards
preventive management of dental decay.
