                        First Order in South Africa, and 
                     Appointment of Nick Christie as Director 
 
 
Ila (AIM: ILA), is pleased to announce its first order with a major retailer in 
South Africa. The order is to supply the House of Busby ("Busby") with Ila's 
products, the Dusk and the Pebble, for a trial period across their major retail 
stores.  Busby is a leading wholesale and retail fashion group in South Africa 
with 107 stores nationwide.  Following a successful trial, Ila would expect this 
to lead to increasingly significant orders for these products as well as further 
products from Ila's growing range.  ILA is also in talks with a number of other 
major retailers in South Africa. 
 
Furthermore, the Board of Ila is pleased to announce the appointment of Nicholas 
Christie, aged 36, as a Director of the Company with immediate effect. Nick's 
previous role has been as the sales manager of Ila Security Limited, the 
operating subsidiary of the Company, where he has had overall responsibility for 
international sales, including direct and channel sales for Ila's expanding 
female security products. 
 
Since joining Ila in October 2009, Nick has begun sales programmes in multiple 
territories globally, including the USA, Canada, Norway, Finland, South Africa, 
Australasia and others across Europe, both directly and through coordination 
with distributors and sales agents. 
 
Nick had previously managed the UK office of Epsilon International, the Email 
Marketing Service Provider, winning deals with clients such as Tesco, Ogilvy 
Interactive, John Lewis andeasyJet. Nick has also worked at DoubleClick 
International (now part of Google), CACI Information Solutions and Michael Page 
plc. 
 
Simon McGivern, Chief Executive Officer of Ila, said: "Nick has already made a 
tremendous contribution to Ila since joining - the Busby deal being just a small 
indication of this - and his elevation to the Board is a reflection of his 
future value to the Company.

Mr Christie does not hold any shares in the Company and has options over 
11,942,625 ordinary shares, which were granted on 4 March 2010. Mr Christie is 
not currently, and has not been at any time in the previous five years, a 
director or partner of any other company or partnership. There is no other 
information in relation to Mr Christie required to be disclosed pursuant to Rule 
17 and Schedule 2 (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies.
