   Jupiter Second Split Trust PLC 
 
   Change of Portfolio Manager 
 
   The Board of Jupiter Second Split Trust PLC (the "Company") announces 
that Jupiter Asset Management Limited is to appoint Miles Geldard as the 
portfolio manager of the Company. 
 
   Miles Geldard, who has 30 years' investment experience, is head of the 
fixed interest/multi-asset team at Jupiter and jointly manages the 
Jupiter Strategic Total Return Fund (a Luxembourg SICAV), the Jupiter 
Global Convertibles Fund (a Luxembourg SICAV) and the Jupiter Strategic 
Reserve Fund (a UK Unit Trust), alongside Lee Manzi. 
 
   His appointment will take effect from 1 November 2013, following Philip 
Gibbs' decision to step down from the management of the Company's 
investment portfolio. 
 
   Gordon Campbell, Chairman, said: "Philip has delivered outstanding 
returns for shareholders in the Company and its predecessor, Jupiter 
Split Trust PLC. On behalf of the Board and investors, I would like to 
thank him for his efforts during this time.
