Libra Natural Resources plc ("LNR" or "the Company")

Issue of Equity

Further to completion of the acquisition of the West Kooteney development rights
from Sure Fire Capital Corp. as announced on 2 August 2007, the Company has
issued 300,300 new Ordinary Shares and 150,150 warrants over new Ordinary Shares
(the "Warrants") as deferred consideration in relation to this acquisition.  The
Warrants have a strike price of 12.4891p each and are exercisable until 11 April
2011.  The new Ordinary Shares will rank equally with the existing Ordinary
Shares of the Company.  Application has been made for the 300,300 new Ordinary
Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM, which is expected to become effective
on 28 April 2008.
