                               Investment Update

Latitude Resources plc ('Latitude' or 'the Company') announces that following
the exercise of warrants (announced 1 November 2006) the Company has completed 
a partial sale of its stake in Western Goldfields (TSX: WGI). The resultant
interest is 4,800,000 shares, which takes the Company's holding in Western
Goldfields to 6.3% of the issued share capital as at 24 January 2007.
