    Interim Management Statement

Crawley, UK, Tuesday, 18 November 2008; Macro 4 plc (LSE;MAO) ("the Group"), a market leader in the provision of innovative,
performance-enhancing infrastructure software solutions, today publishes its Interim Management Statement for the period from 1st July 2008
to date. This is in accordance with the UK Listing Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.

The Group has made good progress throughout the year in restructuring its propositions, particularly in the areas of Applications
Performance, Data and Document Archiving and in Print Management. The Group is pleased with the market reaction to these new propositions.
In a difficult economic climate, the ability to deliver rapid and substantial cost savings and improved system performance is a positive
selling point and is helping to strengthen the new business pipeline.

We previously reported that the current economic climate has led to increased competition, reduced customer spending and elongated sales
cycles. This remains the case. In spite of this, the new business revenue during the period is in line with the Board's expectations and
recurring revenue continues to be stable, providing a strong underpinning to the Group's operations.
The Group's balance sheet remains solid and following strong cost control and tight cash management, the cash balance at the end of
October 2008 was well ahead of the same date last year.

Half-year results will be announced in February 2009.

This announcement may contain forward-looking statements which are made in good faith. By their nature, forward looking statements are
based on management's current expectations or beliefs, as well as assumptions about future events. These are subject to a number of risks
and uncertainties that could cause actual results and performance to differ materially from any expected future results or performance
expressed or implied by the forward-looking statement. The Company does not assume any responsibility or obligation to update publicly or
revise any forward-looking statements that may be contained herein.
