Octopus Second AIM VCT plc announces that on 21 July 2010 the Company purchased 
for cancellation 62,990 Ordinary shares at a price of 28.0p per share. The 
Ordinary shares purchased represent 0.15% of the total number of voting rights 
in the Company before the transaction. 
 
Following this transaction, the issued share capital of the Company consists of 
46,038,850 Ordinary shares with a nominal value of 5p each, with voting rights. 
The Company now holds 3,666,535 Ordinary shares in treasury.
