Conversion of Loan Notes 
 
 
 
 
Proventec plc (AIM:PROV, Alternext:ALPTC), a provider of specialist steam 
cleaning and coatings technologies, announces that it has received a conversion 
notice from  a holder of the 8.5% Fixed Rate Convertible Guaranteed Unsecured 
Loan Notes 2012, to convert GBP 4,000 of loan notes into 8,000 ordinary shares. 
 
 
Accordingly, 8,000 new Ordinary Shares in the Company have been issued and 
application has been made for them to be admitted to trading on AIM with effect 
from 14 October 2009. 
 
 
The Company now has 15,427,719 shares in issue.

Proventec Healthcare provides innovative solutions for infection control and 
effective cleaning in the healthcare sector. The Company's specialist steam 
cleaning technology has been successfully proven in clinical trials with 
University College London Hospitals to rid all areas and combat the spread of 
micro-organisms, including 'superbugs' such as MRSA and Clostridium difficile. 
The Company has developed specialist, patented tooling, which has been designed
