    PREMIER UK DUAL RETURN TRUST PLC

VOTING RIGHTS AND CAPITAL

In conformity with the Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6 the
Company notifies the market of the following:

The Company's share capital consists of:

73,000,000 income shares of 0.1p each with voting rights;

109,000,000 capital shares of 0.1p each with voting rights; and

16,830,000 zero dividend preference shares of 0.1p each with restricted voting
rights in accordance with the Articles of Association.

Together, the income shares and capital shares can be traded as a maximum of
73,000,000 geared ordinary units, each comprising one income share and one
capital share. Furthermore the capital shares and the zero dividend preference
shares can be held together and traded as a maximum of 16,830,000 growth units,
each comprising one zero dividend preference share and two capital shares.

The above figures of 73,000,000 income shares and109,000,000 capital shares may
be used by shareholders as the denominators for the calculations by which they
will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to
their interest in, Premier UK Dual Return Trust PLC under the FSA's Disclosure
and Transparency Rules.
