Trading Statement for the 12 months ended

                                  30 June 2007

Retec Digital PLC ("Retec" or "the Company"), the guided selling specialist,
today issues the following trading update.

Retec is pleased to report that trading for the twelve months to 30 June 2007
was in line with management's expectations. Retec will announce its results for
the year ended 30 June 2007 on Wednesday 26 September 2007.

Since the acquisition of Retec Interface in September 2006, the Company has won
several significant contracts with a number of large retailers, either directly
or through its business partner, IBM UK Limited. The Company continues to work
with national high street retailers such as Sainsbury's, Tesco, Boots, Argos and
Woolworths.

As reported in January 2007, the deployment of our Entertainment Xtra product,
particularly in relation to the Sainsbury's contract, has been well received. To
date, these units have been installed in more than 150 of Sainsbury's and 37 of
Tesco's largest stores.

Within Sainsbury's, revenue for the period has been generated mostly from the
entertainment sector, but more recently advertising from non-entertainment
suppliers has commenced. This is a significant development, which we aim to
build upon during the next financial year.

As announced in May 2007, through a relationship between Retec Interface and IBM
UK Limited, Alliance Boots have ordered over 1,200 "Advantage Card Extra Points"
loyalty card kiosks to replace their existing estate.

In addition during the year, through its business partner IBM UK Limited, the
Company has delivered substantial orders for Argos and Woolworths.

Commenting on the period, John Cole, Chief Executive Officer stated:

"Retec has shown significant growth during the last 12 months and the Board is
confident that this will continue during the financial year to 30 June 2008.

"We have been successfully rolling out our products to a number of major
retailers within the UK, and we will be seeking to build on these relationships
by continuing to develop further services and solutions that deliver value to
retailers.

"We have an excellent position within our chosen market and we will look to
further enhance this as a leading provider of digital guided selling solutions
in the UK."
