We announced the appointment of Mr Stefan Angwald as a director of the Company
and Chief Executive designate with effect from 5 January 2004.

In accordance with paragraph 16.4 of the Listing Rules, we notify you that Mr
Angwald is not a director of any publicly quoted companies. He was a director of
J P Nordiska AB, a publicly quoted company in Sweden until April 2002.

Mr Angwald has confirmed that none of the details required for disclosure under
paragraph 6.F.2(b) to (g) of the Listing Rules apply.
