   Transaction by the investment manager 
 
   CQS Rig Finance Fund Limited (the "Company") announces that the 
Company's investment manager, CQS Cayman LP ("CQS Cayman") yesterday 
sold 1,917,559 ordinary shares at a price of 34.5p to the retirement 
plan of Sir Michael Hintze. Sir Michael is a partner of CQS Cayman and 
the founder, Chief Executive and Senior Investment Officer of the CQS 
group. 
 
   Following the sale, CQS Cayman, in conjunction with CQS (UK) LLP and CQS 
Asset Management Limited, has a holding in the Company of 61,924,384 
ordinary shares and the retirement plan of Sir Michael 11,767,677 
ordinary shares representing 63.57 per cent. and 12.08 per cent. 
respectively of the Company's current issued ordinary share capital.
