RTL Group has decided to postpone the announcement of its Interim Results 2001
due to the extraordinary and shocking events in the United States earlier this
week.

The results were scheduled to be released on Friday 14th September 2001 but
the Group has decided to delay the announcement so that it can observe the
European day of mourning. The results will now be released on Wednesday 19th
September 2001 and there will be a presentation for analysts at 09.15 (BST) in
the London office of FremantleMedia (formerly Pearson TV), Stephen Street,
London W1. This meeting will be webcast live and can be accessed through RTL
Group's website, www.rtlgroup.com, and Finsbury's website, www.finsbury.com.
