In accordance with the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, Christian
Salvesen PLC ("the Company") announces that on 29 November 2007 it received
notification from GAM International Management Limited that on 21 November 2007
it carried out an internal fund transfer in respect of its interest in
15,588,500 Ordinary Shares of 28* p each in the Company, representing
approximately 5.87% of the issued share capital and voting rights in the
Company.

The shares and associated voting rights are held through the following funds:
