               TRADINGSPORTS EXCHANGE SYSTEMS PLC (the "Company")

  SUBSCRIPTION FOR UP TO 30,000,000 NEW ORDINARY SHARES AT 15 PENCE PER SHARE

Further to the Company's announcement on 31 August of the subscription for
23,333,333 new ordinary shares at 15p per share, raising #3.5 million before
expenses, the Company announces that it had not received further subscriptions
by 17 September 2004, the deadline for such subscriptions to be received. The
Company has therefore closed the subscription at #3.5 million.

At the time of the subscription, Mr Terry Ramsden was granted an option for him
to subscribe for up to 7,448,236 new ordinary shares at 25p per share. It was a
condition of this option that the subscription referred to above must be in
respect of the full 30,000,000 new ordinary shares on or before 17 September
2004. Therefore the option has lapsed.

The Company was informed on 17 September 2004 that Mr Ramsden is interested in
5,433,333 ordinary shares, representing 15.60 per cent. of the issued share
capital of the Company.
