 TGI Expands Professional Audio Interests with Acquisition Of
          Lab Gruppen, a Digital Amplifier Specialist

TGI  is pleased to announce the acquisition of Lab Gruppen,  a
specialist  designer and manufacturer of digital  professional
audio amplifiers, based in Sweden.

Established for over 20 years, Lab Gruppen is positioned as  a
premium  brand, and has a reputation for high quality  and  an
impressive  record of technological innovation.   Its  product
portfolio  incorporates  both digital  amplifier  and  digital
signal processing ("DSP") technologies, and, more recently, it
has pioneered the use of networked systems.

Loudspeaker and amplifier technologies are converging and  the
acquisition  will  allow  TGI to  integrate  its  world  class
professional loudspeaker technology with Lab Gruppen's digital
expertise  to provide integrated solutions to its professional
audio  customers.   At present, all of TGI's loudspeakers  use
third  party  amplifiers and electronics.   In  addition,  the
acquisition  will  give  Lab Gruppen access  to  TGI's  strong
international  distribution network, and,  in  particular,  to
Martin Audio's professional audio customer base.

The  consideration of SKr28.0m (#2.1m) has been paid  in  cash
and   funded  from  the  Group's  cash  resources   and   bank
facilities.   For  the year ended 30 April 2000,  Lab  Gruppen
generated turnover of SKr38.7m (#2.9m), profit before  tax  of
SKr2.7m (#0.2m), and had net assets of SKr2.0m (#0.15m).

benefit  from  greater  market  access  through  TGI's  strong
international distribution network."
