                              ITV1 re-commissions

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?

2waytraffic UK is delighted to announce that ITV1 has re-commissioned Who Wants
To Be A Millionaire? for a further series.

The new deal comprises at least 25 x 60 minutes episodes and will see the
globally successful quiz show continue to feature in the broadcaster's primetime
schedule until at least spring 2009.

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? made its global debut on ITV1 in September 1998
and has been a mainstay of the ITV1 schedule since. Now in its 22nd series,
there have been over 480 episodes, featuring over 1311 contestants in the
hotseat, collectively winning over #50,000,000.

The show recently introduced a new contestant casting initiative and a newly
configured money tree, featuring a new, faster route to the million pound
jackpot, as well as refreshed graphics and music. The new look proved an instant
hit with viewers, with the first episode, a celebrity special, attracting an
average of 6.1m viewers or 28% share.

Kees Abrahams, CEO of 2waytraffic, said:

"We are delighted that ITV has pledged its on-going confidence in Who Wants To
Be A Millionaire? and look forward to producing the show for them long into the
future."

Duncan Gray, Controller of Entertainment, ITV, commented:

"We're thrilled that ITV1 continues to be the home of the inspirational Who
Wants To Be A Millionaire? It's where it belongs."
