                            MAJOR INTEREST IN SHARES


On 19 March 2007, Virotec International plc (the "Company") (AIM: VTI) received
notification as required by the FSA's Disclosure & Transparency Rules, in
relation to holdings in the Company of PIHL Equity LLP and Mr Nigel Wray both of
Cavendish House, 18 Cavendish Square, London.


The notification provided a restatement of historic interests in compliance with
the FSA's new rules, and advised as follows:
