Arel Communications and Software Signs Service Provider Agreement with Thailand's Shin Broadband Internet, Expanding Company's Market Reach in Southeast Asia Arel Communications and Software (NASDAQ: ARLC), technology leader in universal voice, video and data Web communication for interactive conferencing and collaboration, today announced that Shin Broadband Internet (SBI), a subsidiary of Shin Satellite Public Company Limited, Thailand's largest telecommunications group, will host the Arel Spotlight(TM) application suite for enterprise customers. Arel Spotlight will be offered via both a subscription-based model, where clients will pay for a specific number of seats, and pay-per-use model. SBI offers a broad portfolio of broadband application services including IPTV, a platform for distributing and managing multimedia content over an IP network and MyTheatre, a personal digital entertainment room service offering movies and karaoke. As a provider of communication solutions, Shin Broadband Internet engaged in an agreement with Arel to offer a superior conferencing solution for companies to conduct meetings, conferences and training sessions professionally and cost-efficiently. SBI will provide Arel Spotlight over its broadband Internet service through its i-Meeting application.
