Launching today, Bluefly (NASDAQ Capital market: BFLY) will unveil the latest edition of their wildly popular Closet Confessions series on their site, Bluefly.com. Fresh off the release of her hit single, “Gold”, singer Neon Hitch treats viewers to a private tour of her East Village home in New York City.

Walking into Neon’s apartment, you’re instantly transported to a vibrant, global marketplace with an East-meets-West aesthetic. Oversized gilded mirrors, crystal balls and walls of art speak loudly to the singer’s unique roots.

“I actually grew up in a caravan, traveling around Europe doing trapeze and street performance,” Neon explains. Realizing her dream of professional trapeze wasn’t in the cards, she says she’s thankful for another gift: her voice. On stages around the world, Neon has wowed fans not only with her recognizable vocals but also with her over-the-top style, which includes her ever-present headdresses. “One day, I was walking down Melrose [Avenue] in L.A. and I saw this store with all these headdresses,” the star says. “I started trying them on and it was just like I lit up; I felt perfect. Since then, I’ve continued to buy more and more.”

Citing her mother as her fashion icon, she describes her ever-changing personal style as “experimental” – an element that becomes clear when seeing her enviable closet. Stocked with pieces like intricately-embroidered Kyle Luu brassieres, otherworldly dresses from designer Lie Sang Bong, and custom-made skyscraper platforms, Neon’s closet is more fashion icon than mainstream pop star. On how stardom has affected her style: “I don’t think I’ve changed, I’ve just evolved,” she says. “I don’t believe in trying to be somebody you’re not - just be a bigger, better version of yourself.”

Neon Hitch joins a distinguished cast of celebrity contributors including blogging phenom Leandra Medine, stylist Brad Goreski, Real Housewife Bethenny Frankel, and actress Kerry Washington, among others.

Clocking more than 3 million views and snagging the 2010 Fashion 2.0 Award for Best Online Video, the series has driven record spikes in traffic. Neon’s video was directed by Brian Quist. Quist, a documentary filmmaker, has worked with luminaries ranging from The Dalai Lama to Natalie Portman and with global brands such as Lancôme, Michael Kors, Allure Magazine, Vanity Fair and Vogue.
