Genesys Conferencing (Euronext Eurolist:FR0004270270) (NASDAQ:GNSY), a global multimedia conferencing leader, today announced that it has appointed Timothy A. Samples and Bo Dimert to its Board of Directors. Mr. Dimert has extensive leadership experience in both the IT and technology industries. Dimert has held several executive management positions at Ericsson, including President and CEO of Ericsson Inc. and Executive Vice President of the Ericsson Group, where he was responsible for all activities of the Ericsson Group in North America. Prior to joining Ericsson, Dimert held leadership positions at the Digital Equipment Corporation and at IBM Corporation. Mr. Samples, who has served as a Director of Pac-West since January 2005, has over 20 years of experience in the communications industry. He has served as CEO, President, and Chairman of the Board of Management of Completel N.V. in London and Paris and as CEO and President of Firstmark Communications, a Pan-European broadband company. He was also CEO of One2One, a MediaOne and Cable and Wireless joint venture. With the new appointments, the Genesys board will go from five to six members. Board member Tom Abbott did not seek reelection to the board.
